Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: email address, and the name, gender, age, and weight you provide when registering a rider.
• Event data: which events you're registered for, your club, submitted stage times (including a Strava activity link you paste in as supporting evidence), and payment status (payment itself is processed by our payment provider — we don't store card details).

How long we keep it

• Stage times you submit yourself are kept as a permanent competition record.

Third parties

We use Supabase to store data and a payment processor to handle entry fees. Stage submissions may include a link to a Strava activity as supporting evidence, but we don't call Strava's API to read your ride data. See Strava's own privacy policy for how they handle data on their platform.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing TORQeventsNZ@gmail.com. As a New Zealand-based organiser, we handle your data in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles, including your right to request access to, or correction of, information we hold about you. If you're based elsewhere, these same rights apply regardless, including under the GDPR and UK GDPR.
