FINALE: Nihotupu to the Mast

Introducing a novel new AHCS Finale. Climb Piha Rd to get a flying downhill start - the segment starts at the Upper Nihotupu carpark. Carry as much speed as you can back up to Scenic Drive where you'll hang a haaaard left (give way to traffic if required). You'll enjoy a short downhill recovery which launches you into the second half of the climb - finishing when you see the mast.

Please ride Stage 5 on Sunday 6 December between 8 and 9am, to enjoy the festival atmosphere of the official AHCS Finale party. Bring your friends and whanau to the Parkinson Lookout to watch you collapse in a puddle of goo. Then soak up the live brass band, free donuts, coffee truck, and new for this year: a special kids bike course on the grass. The Finale will also be photographed by Matt Crawford, with free image downloads.
